ElasTek Type IRHD-L (S1) Test Block Kit (71430-IRHD-L)
The IRHD-L (also referred to as S1) kit covers standard-size specimens on the IRHD scale, with six blocks at nominal values of 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 — one fewer block than the Shore-scale kits, reflecting IRHD’s own standard reference points rather than the D2240 30-90 spread.
Blocks are color coded, ship in a latching case, and can be reordered individually. ISO-17025 calibration is included, and CCSi recommends annual recalibration.
For small or thin specimens where the standard IRHD indenter won’t seat properly, see the Type IRHD-M kit instead, or the related IRHD-N (S2) kit for a different IRHD indenter configuration.
