Product Description

The Shore® Constant Load durometer is designed to minimize the variations in test determinations by the inconsistent application of force when the instrument is used manually.

This durometer incorporates a larger presser foot (51 x 51 mm) for stability and a mass intended to produce a more consistent application of force.

It is designed for testing specimens having minimum dimensions of 51 x 51 mm, the opposite sides of which are flat and parallel. It may be manually applied or, for better repeatability and accuracy, mounted on a Shore® Operating Stand.
