CAM036G — Radius-Tip Brass Scraper
Where the A, B, C, and F scrapers in CCSi’s lineup use straight or angled edges, the CAM036G introduces a rounded, radius-tip blade measuring 0.75″ × 3.625″, mounted on an 11.625″ oak handle.
That curved edge is built to follow contoured mold surfaces — fillets, rounded corners, curved cavity walls — without the flat edge of a straight scraper catching or gouging along the curve the way a squared-off blade tends to. It’s also the narrowest blade in the entire scraper lineup, which makes it better suited to detail work in tight, shaped features rather than sweeping across broad flat surfaces.
Rubber and plastics labs dealing with molds that have rounded internal geometry, rather than strictly flat parting lines, will typically find this profile does a cleaner, more controlled job than forcing a squared edge against a curve and hoping for even contact.
Pair it with the wider CAM036H for the same rounded-tip approach scaled up to bigger surfaces. Both radius-tip scrapers share their oak-handle construction with the rest of CCSi’s mold maintenance line, so switching between the two feels consistent in the hand.
