CAM035J — Brass Brush, 7.25″ x 1.5″ x 0.375″, .0055″ Bristles
The CCSi CAM035J is a fine-bristle brass brush with a compact 1.5″ × 0.375″ head of .0055″ diameter bristles on a 7.25″ wooden handle — roughly half the bristle gauge of the CAM035H. The smaller head and finer bristles are suited to detail cleaning in narrow mold cavities, threads, and vents that a larger brush can’t reach.
Specimen molds, cutting dies, and formers represent a significant investment in a rubber or plastics lab. Using steel tools for routine tasks — prying molds open, clearing stubborn debris — wears or damages that equipment over time. Brass is soft enough to protect the mold surface while still doing the job.
Best suited for: precision cleaning of vents, small cavities, and fine mold detail where a larger brush would be too coarse or simply won’t fit.
