CAM035C — Brass Mold Tool, 0.1875″ Shank, 90º Bend
The CCSi CAM035C is a precision brass mold pick with a 0.1875″ diameter shank, 90º bend, and conical tip, on a 14″ tool with a plastic handle. The larger shank diameter than the CAM035A adds rigidity for tougher debris while keeping the same right-angle reach into recessed mold features.
Specimen molds, cutting dies, and formers represent a significant investment in a rubber or plastics lab. Using steel tools for routine tasks — prying molds open, clearing stubborn debris — wears or damages that equipment over time. Brass is soft enough to protect the mold surface while still doing the job.
Best suited for: bent-access cleaning jobs where the 0.125″ shank flexes too much or lacks the stiffness to clear more stubborn buildup.
