Product Description

The Rex® Rubber Test Block Kit is designed to be used as a ready reference for determining the day—to—day operational status of durometers.

The Type A and Type M kits consist of 7 blocks, each of which measures ¼ x 2 x 2 inch (6.35 x 50.8 x 50.8 millimeter), and are compounded to yield durometer hardness values of approximately 30; 40; 50; 60; 70; 80; and 90.

The Type D kit consists of 3 blocks compounded to yield durometer hardness values of approximately 20, 40, and 80.

The Type OO and Type OOO kits consist of 3 blocks, compounded to yield durometer hardness values of approximately 20, 40, and 60.

Each test block set comes in an attractive, durable, magnetic—latching storage case. The test blocks are color coded for ease of identification and include the individual nominal block values listed on the inside cover. The test blocks may be purchased individually as replacements to a set.

The test block set should be calibrated annually as the hardness values change over time. CCSi provides test block calibration and certification at a very reasonable cost.
