ElasTek Type OO Test Block Kit (71430-OO)
Type OO is a lower-hardness durometer scale than O, A, or B — used for softer sponge and foam rubber compounds that would bottom out or give unreliable readings on the harder scales. The kit reflects that with just three blocks rather than seven, at nominal values of 30, 50, and 70, since soft-material testing typically doesn’t need the same fine-grained seven-point spread.
Blocks are color coded and ship in a latching case, with individual replacements available. ISO-17025 calibration is included, and CCSi recommends annual recalibration.
For an even softer material range, see the Type OOO kit; for harder rubber compounds, the Type A or Type O kits are the better match.
