CAM044 — 8″ Needle Bent Nose Brass Pliers
The CAM044 combines a tapered needle jaw with an angled bend near the tip, giving access to fasteners or debris positioned at an angle rather than straight ahead — something the straight needle-nose CAM042 simply can’t reach as cleanly no matter how it’s turned.
Overall length holds at 8″, with the same solid brass build, serrated tip, and foam handle covers used consistently across CCSi’s plier range. That bend near the tip is really the deciding factor here: reaching around an obstruction, into an angled mold feature, or behind a raised edge calls for this shape over a straight-jawed alternative that would only fight the geometry of the space.
Brass keeps contact with tooling surfaces gentle regardless of the jaw’s particular geometry, so the added bend doesn’t come at the cost of protecting the mold the way it might with a hardened steel equivalent.
If your access point runs in a straight line instead of at an angle, the CAM042 offers the identical tapered jaw without the added bend, and will likely be easier to control for that simpler, more direct reach.
