Product Description

CAM035K — 0.25″ Bent Brass Pick

At a 0.25″ diameter with a 90º bend and conical point, the CAM035K sits between the CAM035C’s 0.1875″ bend and the heavier 0.375″ tools — a middle-ground shank size for technicians who find the thinner bent picks too flexible for daily use. It runs 14″ overall with a plastic handle.

Rubber and plastics labs typically have thousands of dollars tied up in a single mold, die, or former. Reaching for a steel pick to knock loose cured flash or seated debris chips the cavity surface over time; brass gives way before the tooling does. That tradeoff is why CCSi stocks this entire range of shank sizes and profiles rather than a single generic pick.

The bend on the K puts the tip where a straight shank can’t go — around ejector pins, into recessed vent channels, behind mold inserts — while the thicker 0.25″ shank resists bowing under sideways pressure better than the thinner-gauge bent picks in the lineup.

Looking for the same shank without the bend? See CAM035L. CCSi’s broader brass tool catalog covers scrapers, o-ring pullers, and pneumatic-tool bushings as well — reach out if your application calls for something outside the standard range.
