CAM035GX — Brass Blade, 1″ x 17″, Chisel Tip
The CCSi CAM035GX is the extended-length version of CCSi’s brass chisel blade — a 0.25″ thick × 1″ wide shank and chisel tip, on a 17″ tool with a plastic handle, 5″ longer than the standard CAM035G. The added length and reach make it easier to work larger molds or press platens without repositioning as often.
Specimen molds, cutting dies, and formers represent a significant investment in a rubber or plastics lab. Using steel tools for routine tasks — prying molds open, clearing stubborn debris — wears or damages that equipment over time. Brass is soft enough to protect the mold surface while still doing the job.
Best suited for: scraping large-format molds, deep press cavities, or platens where the standard 12″ blade doesn’t give enough reach.
