CCSi features this high quality Carbon Arc Weathering Apparatus for reproducing the weathering effects, which occur when polymers, elastomers, thermoplastic elastomers, vulcanized rubber, bituminous roofing and waterproofing materials and many other materials are exposed, in actual end use environments, to direct sunlight and moisture such as rain or dew or to sunlight through window glass as described in ASTM D529ASTM D750, ASTM G23, which was superseded by ASTM G152 and ASTM G153 in 2000, ISO 4892—1, ISO 4892—4, ISO 4582, and CIE-Publication Number 85.

The Model HT8051 Carbon Arc Weathering Apparatus features an access door mounted observation window, convenient front panel mounted controls, a large stainless steel test chamber, a generous specimen holder and a positive sealing access door.
