CCSi features this high quality apparatus for evaluating the cut growth rate of rubber vulcanizates when exposed to repetitive flexing, as described in ASTM D1052 ‘Standard Test Method for Measuring Rubber Deterioration — Cut Growth Using Ross Flexing Apparatus’.
The Ross Flex Tester features a quality electric motor and transmission assembly which provides 100 ± 5 cycles per minute at a maximum angle of 90º. The clamping mechanism is adjustable to accommodate specimens of a “non—standard” thickness.
The Model HT8683 may be used at standard laboratory temperatures or operated under subnormal temperatures and is specifically designed to be used with the Model HT8043 Refrigeration Chamber.
CCSi also provides the specimen cutting dies and special piercing apparatus required to prepare the test specimens.
