CCSi features this high quality apparatus for the evaluation of the resistance to cracking, delamination, and discoloration (in the flexed area) of the finish or substrate material when subjected to repeated flexing. It is applicable to many types of upholstery, automotive upholstery, footwear and clothing leathers.

The Model HT8021D may be used at standard laboratory temperatures or operated under subnormal temperatures and is specifically designed to be used with the Model HT8043 Refrigeration Chamber.

There are several related ASTM methods to which this instrument may perform equivalent evaluations, for example:
