Product Description

The Rex® Model 2000 features a maximum reading hand. The reading is ‘held’ until the operator can view the result, thus reducing error caused by focal parallax. Additionally, hysteresis or ‘creep’, over time, may also be observed.

The maximum reading hand ‘tracks’ the active hand using a unique magnetic-drag mechanism and not a ‘mechanical follower’, thus reducing the influence of mechanical drag on the test outcome. It is reset to zero by rotating the reset knob on the gauge face.
