Hung Ta™ Softening Point Temperature Tester Model HT8053 |
| CCSi features this durable, high quality apparatus for determining the softening point temperature of a wide variety of materials with a transition temperature between ambient temperature and 200 Cº. |
| The Model HT8053 features PID temperature controllers, high quality stainless steel test chamber, positive sealing access door with a large chamber viewing window and conveniently located instrument controls. The compact footprint allows for benchtop placement, conserving precious laboratory space. |
| The test procedure is quite straightforward: place up to 3 specimens in the mounting device; the specimens, once heated to a specified temperature at a rate of 1 Cº / min, are subjected to indenter penetration for 0.1 min.; the depth of the indenter penetration is relative to the softening point temperature. |
