| The Rex® Model MS—1 Durometer is specifically designed for applications where multiple scale durometer hardness testing is performed. It incorporates the Model 1600 dial indicator and interchangeable ‘barrels’ in ASTM D2240 Types (Shore scale) A, B, C, D, DO, O and OO. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Model MS—1 features color coded ‘barrels’ for ease of durometer type (scale) identification. Changing scales is easily accomplished by simply unscrewing one barrel and replacing it with another — no supplementary calibration or adjustments are necessary. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A test block, calibrated to a selected scale, is also included. The block allows the user to perform quick functional checks on the instrument. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
