Hung Ta™ Universal Flex - Abrasion Tester Model HT8357 Hung Ta™ Instruments
CCSi features this multipurpose and precision Universal Flex - Abrasion Tester for measuring the resistance to surface, flex and edge abrasion of paper, plastic, rubber, textiles, leather, paper, and a vast array of other materials.
It is designed to conform with
ASTM D3885, Standard Test Method for Abrasion Resistance of Textile Fabrics (Flexing and Abrasion Method);
ASTM D3886, Standard Test Method for Abrasion Resistance of Textile Fabrics (Inflated Diaphragm Method);
ASTM D3514, Standard Test Method for Pilling Resistance and Other Related Surface Changes of Textile Fabrics: Elastomeric Pad;
AATCC Test Method 119 Color Change Due to Flat Abrasion (Frosting): Screen Wire Method;
AATCC Test Method 120 Color Change Due to Flat Abrasion (Frosting): Emery Method.
All tests may be run wet or dry with an automatic end point. A continuously changing abrading head is also available.
